AT&T Motorola Atrix 4G; The World’s Most Powerful Android Smartphone
This is it! Motorola hits the market again with the new Motorola Atrix, which is expected to be releasing on Q2,2011. The Motorola Atrix looks like the previously revealed Olympus, featuring 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a Tegra 2 processor, and an HDMI out port, with an HD dock. As with the other phones, “4G” means HSPA+ not LTE for the Atrix.
Oops, that’s messed up ah?I am kind of excited that’s why! never mind! Let me rewind through the specs again. The phone has a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1 GHz processor featuring Android 2.2(Froyo, I hope there will be update available to Gingerbread when the phone is launched) which makes it the World’s most powerful and fasted Android Smartphone. It has a 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory, there is a microSD card slot option which can be filled up to 32GB. 4 inch QHD Gorilla glass display (supposedly refreshes faster than other screens) which has an unbelievable resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.
The phone itself comes with a Biometric fingerprint reader which provides more privacy and security for the user data. The phone operates on HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps(the fastest 3G speed); HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and unfortunately it comes with the standard Bluetooth 2.0 instead of the more speedy 3.0 version. It supports 1080p MP4/H.263/H.264.WMV/Xvid/DivX @ 30 fps playback.
The Motorola Atrix 4G camera is 5MP – still the standard for high-end smartphones these days, which is capable of recording 720p videos @30fps. HSPA+ is the best the device can offer on the network connectivity side and a massive 1930 mAh battery is supposed to keep the whole thing buzzing for more than 9 hours of talk time. Surprisingly the weight is kept under control – 136g is a very good achievement considering what’s inside.
I am really excited to hear about the launch of this device. i don’t care what is symbian or android or whatever, i care with this.. 960×540 qHD dual-core 1930 mAH all weights at 136g? Come on, i think this is it!The phone everyone waiting for. So, what you personally think of it? Please share your comments. If you like this post do “Like” SparklingSpur on Facebook.
