When Samsung, Motorola and HTC ruling the current cell phone market, it seems like Blackberry is also trying to prove themself by releasing new phones. Blackberry announced 5 new models that they are planning to release on next month in the market. The models are Blackberry Torch 9810, Torch 9860, Torch 9850, Bold Touch 9900, Bold Touch 9930. All the devices are loaded with Blackberry OS 7 and has 1.2 GHz Processor for great multi tasking.

The New Blackberry OS 7 is really a breakthrough as said by Blackberry. It is 40% faster and powerful performer than the OS 6. One thing i am sure is that, the OS 7 and the new Liquid Graphics Technology altogether going to make a great blackberry experience.  Let’s have a brief look at each device.

Blackberry Torch 9810

blackberry-torch-9810Blackberry Torch 9810 is the successor of 9800. This is the second phone from blackberry which has the sliding form factor. This device is really going to take the Torch series to the next level after the big success of the Torch 9800. The Torch 9810 has a 3.2” inch Capacitive touch screen display. It has 1.2 GHz processor and 768 MB RAM. Even though the device looks simple it’s actually a great performer. The device weights only 161g and it is available in black colour only.

Here also both devices are same except for 9930 is the GSM/CDMA variant of  9900. Both device has 1.2GHz processor, 768MB RAM, QWERTY keyboard, 2.8” inch capacitive touch screen, 8GB internal memory (expandable upto 32GB). There is also an optical trackpad like the one you see in other bold series phones. Bold Touch 9900 and 9930 also has Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, A-GPS options and NFC technology enabled. Another important thing about 9900 and 9930 is that they are slimmest blackberries upto date.

These are the 5 new releases from blackberry, the release date for all the 5 is set as September. So the release date will be mostly around by September 15 2011. In a cell phone market which is ruling by Android OS, I don’t know whether OS 7 is going to survive or not. Anyway let’s wait and see.

Talking about my personal choice from this list of 5, hmmmm, I will go for Blackberry Torch 9860 otherwise Bold Touch 9900. I don’t like the 9810 personally. Anyway, if you are BB fan then choice is yours. More detail review on each phone is coming soon. Be our fan or add me on your Google+ circles for upto date information on latest technologies.
