The bad thing is, Spammers are using your Facebook weakness to get you Spammed. I know about 80% people using Facebook wants a ‘Dislike Button’ like the ‘Like’ button. I think Facebook will roll out this feature soon. But, seems like the spammers are behind this and that’s why they released the ‘Enable Dislike Button’ spam. What is ‘Enable Dislike Button’ Scam
Facebook ‘Enable Dislike Button’ is a Scam spreading in Facebook which tell the user that ‘The new Facebook Dislike button is out now and if you want to get it, do the following steps’ . And what happens when you do as they say? Simple! You will get spammed and similar ‘Enable Dislike Button’ request will be sent to your friends, in your name. If they do as you did they also will get spammed and this is send again to their friends in their name.
How ‘Enable Dislike Button’ Scam Works? Let’s see some screenshots!
Well today evening i was on routine Facebooking and one of the friend request i send to a person i know got accepted and i thought i should visit his wall. There you go! The ‘Enable Dislike Button’ scam. The interesting thing is, it wont look like a scam on the first appearance. This one was different from ‘Osama Video, Justin Bieber, Free T-Shirt, YouTube Video scam’. Here is the screenshot;
As it appeared normal to me i think i should check it out. Then i clicked the ‘Enable Dislike Button’ and here is what i got;
A Facebook page which says ‘FbNoLike’. I started thinking is it real or not and for my surprise, on the next second the page got redirected to a website called ‘dislike-now.com’.
By this time, i started realizing what is happening! (As i handled the same scam before). In this page you can see some steps you need to follow to get the Dislike button. The main thing is the JavaScript given on the page;
It says that, you need to copy that JavaScript and go to Facebook and replace the facebook.com on the address bar with JavaScript given and hit Enter key. If do so you will get spammed yourself and ‘Enable Dislike Button’ will be send to your friends.
What if you done as they said and got Spammed?
If you done this already, obviously, you will notice that your ‘Dislike’ button is not still enabled. You will realize it was a scam when your friends start asking about the ‘Enable Dislike Button’ you send them. Actually, that is this scam is all about. There is nothing to worry. It won’t affect your account, or it wont take your account information and private stuffs. Just tell your friends to delete the scam you send and you also delete it from your wall. Anyway, Facebook will delete it all for you once they will come to know about. The life of this scam will be hardly 24-48hr mostly. So nothing to worry if you clicked the scam or you run the JavaScript.

There is nothing to worry about this scam. Just delete it when you see it in your wall. That’s all. If you want you can have a system scan for spam using a spamware to make sure everything is ok.
