Google is all about innovation, they are the Web Masters. Except for the few mistakes they made, the major one being the Orkut, the social networking site they launched. But, it did taught us the basics of Social Networking. In simple words, Google is the Internet. They are on the top of the web services and the inventor of major services we use on cloud. Google always tries to make the Internet more easy and speedy one for us, the best example being the Google Search Engine. Apart from all this things, Google really gone one step forward by the introducing the all new device called Google Chromebook that let’s you use the Internet more easy than you can imagine. Google Chromebook; An Introduction
I know Introduction’s are little bit annoying. But, i am really sorry, ‘cos i can’t skip this step. Ok let’s get into the topic. Google Chromebook in Google’s way;
Chromebooks are built and optimized for the web, where you already spend most of your computing time. So you get a faster, simpler and more secure experience without all the headaches of ordinary computers.
In simple words, Google Chromebooks are simply Netbooks which are loaded with Google Chrome OS, which is ultimately designed for the best web experience you could ever imagine. 
Then why its called Google Chromebook if it’s just a Netbook with Google Chrome OS installed in it? ‘Cos this is officially launching by Google and you will get a logo on your Netbook which say’s Google Chromebook. Enough with the introduction ah? Let’s move on and see what else Google Chromebook Got for you.
Google Chrome; How does it work!
I already said, Google Chromebook is just a Netbook which is loaded with the Google Chrome OS but, what is the difference with the OS we are using now? Yes, there is the turning point. The Google Chromebook is designed only to work on a Network based environment. Of course, you need an Internet Connection to work with Chromebook. When you switch on the Chromebook, there is no wait for booting as there is no other programs to be loaded for the Chromebook to work. So, it will take about only 8 Seconds to load. And once you are loaded you can sign into your account and start surfing the web. And the best thing is that, once you login to the services using your account the information’s are saved in the cloud instead of in the hard disk. So, even if you lost your Chromebook, you can always keep in touch with all the data as Chromebook is using a cloud based operation.
There is also an Guest account like you see on the normal PC, that is, if one of your friends want to use the Chromebook, he can login via the Guest account so, that he/she won’t enter into any of the accounts you already logged in and after his/her use all his History will get cleared automatically and making the Guest account good as new.
There is also a sync option, that helps you to sync all your bookmarks that you made on Google Chrome browser at the home/office PC with your Chromebook and vice versa. This will help you to update,edit,or add new bookmark only to one of the system and it will get synched automatically to all the system you connected with.

Of course, as the Google Chromebook is offering a cloud based encryption to your data and your browsing information, everything is safe with Google. Each and every Chromebook employ the principle of “defence in depth” to provide multiple layers of protection, including sandboxing, data encryption, and verified boot. See this video;
Google Chromebook ; Price and Availability
Google announced the Chromebooks will be out in UK on 15th of June 2011 and will start shipping to other countries like US, France, Germany and more. Currently, Google is tied up with Samsung and Acer for the production Chromebook series notebook. You can see the initial pictures of both Samsung and Acer here;
In US Verizon is offering the 3G plans for the Chromebook. All Samsung chromebook’s featuring 8 second boot, 8 hour’s battery and 12.1” inch display. The Acer Chromebook has slight lower specs which offer a 11.1” inch display and 6.5 hour’s battery. The Samsung will run $425 for the Wifi-only version or $499 for the 3G model, which includes 100MB data service. The Acer will cost “$349 and up.” Expect the duo on June 15th from Amazon and Best Buy in the US with leading retailers selling the two in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, and Italy.
Instead of this, Google is also planning to make available a Chromebook for every Business men and Student with the attractive offer. Google Chromebook’s are available for $20 per student while business pay $28, which also includes new hardware upgrades. This will be a great start for the new Education system that helps student’s more in their studies. I saw lot of comment’s from Children in YouTube like, “will Google Chromebook support’s torrent?” I also have the same question will it really supports? LOL!
